What if social media could
actually make the world better?
Supervillain is proud to introduce Supernova, a brand new social network designed to deliver on this vision. Currently in Beta but available now on the App Store, Supernova allows users to raise money for important causes like fighting climate change or ending homelessness, simply by using the network. And in the process, you experience a kinder, more positive social environment.

How it works
When you sign up, select a cause you care about - let’s say… Help The Homeless.
Great. Now, you are posting with purpose. Because the more likes your posts get, the more money you raise to end homelessness.

Not ‘LIKES’ but ‘THANKS’
Make the community smile. Show them something beautiful. Consciously aim to offer the community value, and in turn, they will reward you with likes...
In fact, it’s not so much a ‘like’ as it is a ‘thanks’ - thanks for posting something that made my day better.

Go Supernova
When something really makes your day, you can thank the poster with a Supernova.
Users accrue these slowly over time, giving them all the more significance.

Where the money comes from.
Like other social networks, Supernova earns money from advertising. We then divide a large portion of this amongst the various causes, according to the percentage of likes their advocates received, respectively.
For example, if 25% of the overall likes went to users advocating for ending homelessness, our partner charities in that sector get 25% of the overall funds.
