Category: Digital Tool The Human Library is a remarkable non-profit organisation, where you can take out a human book, and have a 30 minute conversation with them to better understand their world, and the issues they face. Each human book is someone who has experienced some kind of prejudice, stigma or judgement in society - for example ‘ REFUGEE,’ ‘MUSLIM, ‘ALCOHOLIC,’ TRANSGENDER’ etc.
We created an interactive Diversity Quiz, which uses a simple swipe left/swipe right mechanic to test and challenge people’s unconscious biases.
When users arrived at the Answers Section, rather than simply revealing if they’d chosen correctly, we showed how others had answered and posed more questions, encouraging them to contemplate the labels they’d assigned to people.
